I like it for when I don’t have internet connection (when you save to your own computer by searching in help for “save” and bringing up the "save as” dialogue - this dialogue does not appear unless you do these steps for some reason). Also it has some minor problems with retina display, it goes in and out of focus. There is no setting to choose where to save to your computer and the “save” function doesn’t seem to do anything. I constantly save to the cloud, which Celtix obviously favors. Unfortunately that is problematic as you can see from the other comments. I have lost a scene this way. It remembers “Characters” to offer suggestions while writing, but you cannot edit this list, so might have a lot of superflous mistakes that it that you have to scroll through while writting. Overall it is a rudimentary scriptwriting tool, just save backups constantly. Given the mediocre quality of the app, I’m inclined to think that the paid services are not worth it. This is worth $19.99 if you have the extra money. This app needs a lot of work, other than the bugs: 1. Make saving more explicit and both local and to the cloud, 2. allow editing of suggested characters lists, 3. Allow for printing of specific scenes, not just pages.
